"Quite unremarkable", yet priceless.

This table & chairs were commissioned in 1912 for the private quarters of Captain Smith aboard his new charge. Unfortunately they were a couple of days late & missed the voyage.
They were taken to the tv programme "Antiques Roadshow" in 2009 where the expert valuer found the workmanship to be "quite unremarkable". However, due to its amazing history, a value couldn't be placed on the furniture.
Captain Smith's new charge was the RMS Titanic.
