Lisnabreeny

A great view across Belfast from the site (so I learned today) of an American wartime cemetary. All the bodies were re-interred after the war, either in the main cemetary in England, or back in the US.
And this no more than a mile or so from where I've lived all my life, and never knew about it.
The things you learn whilst geocaching.

  2. It's at the top of the Rocky Road, Gary.
It's the townland where Lagan College is.
There's a red brick gateway that leads into what looks like a field. There's a memorial stone & a seat, that's all.
