Newry Town Hall

Famously built over the river with no visible means of support (you can see right under the arches if you get low enough), this lovely old building now serves as a meeting venue.

  1. My word this brought back a few memories for me - the last time I was in Newry Town Hall was about 1988/89...and yes it is indeed a beautiful building

  2. Very picturesque... and not a drop of snow in sight!

  3. Judith,
Glad I could bring back some memories. I'll be in Newry quite a lot over the next couple of months, so keep your eyes peeled for more.

    Wils,
Not an ounce of snow, but lots of clear ice on the pavements.

  4. It's on the river so that it is neither in County Down or County Armagh!
