Blinded by the light
One of the coldest autumn days yet, but another lovely clear sky as I was going home & the low sun was reflecting off the office block windows on the way to the car.

Result!
Five of the rescue workers in the Chilean mine after the last trapped miner was evacuated.
Their poster reads, "Mission accomplished".
Well done, one and all!

IT problems
It's been three days now. Reduced to using facebook on my phone because this stupid piece of junk of a laptop has decided to give me a plain white screen every time I login. Grrrr!

Oops!
Ok. So sometimes it's great having cable. But when you're flicking through trying to find a movie to watch with your 11 year old & he says "oh, I've heard that's good", please look at what's in the brackets after the title.
30 seconds in & I realised it was a bad idea for an 11 year old!
We spent the rest of the night watching sports.
I watched it later - he'd heard wrong :-)

Ahoy there!
HMS Albion was docked in Belfast for the weekend & the public could go aboard & have a look around this afternoon. It's quite an amazing ship, more of a military roll-on/roll- off ferry, but when you carry up to 400 fighting men with tanks & personnel carriers I guess it can berth just about anywhere it feels like :-)

First Floor Fotos
A number of huge photos have recently turned up on this city centre building. They're intriguing, but there's nothing to say what they're all about. Looks like youth issues: boredom, unemployment, teen pregnancy, belonging etc Watch this space, I'll let you know if I ever find out.
